I would like to upgrAde my current surround sound speakers....I would like to use my current AVR -- Denon AVR-1911. I have a 5.1 setup of.....all Cerwin-Vega

1. Front mid: LS-5c
2. 2 x LS-5b (front side)
3. 2 x LS-5A (rear)
4. LW-10 subwoofer

The cerwin vega have always sounded like people were speaking underwater. The new speakers will be used mostly for streaming movies, TV, DVDs as well as some video games and music.

Thoughts on a quality speakers for less than $1,000 would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Thanks in advance!!

You mean just the rear surround speakers?
Or the complete 5.1 speaker set?

Audition the Q Acoustics 2000i Series 5.1 package.

Found them better than the similarly priced Quad & Tannoy series.

Might just come within $1000 due to the price reduction after the introduction of the 3000 series.

Unfortunately, in India the price is still the same whereas the new 3000 series are priced higher. :(
