Help for Rockboxing Clip +

I've tried installing Rockbox on Clip +, and the dialog box says installation okay. But on restating the player I still get the Sansa opening screen.
This was from a Win 7 64 bit PC.

Could someone tell me how to do it right?

From the Rockbox PDF manual, go for the manual installation method and it will work. I was facing the same issue and this method worked for me.

Problem solved, though I'm curious why it did not work on automatic.

If you are a casual listener like taking for Jog and during travel I would suggest not to go for Rockbox. Its very customizable but quite complicated to use. I always had trouble with switching FM stations and saving presets.

Just to give it a try there is a online manual as mentioned which you can have both stock firmware along with Rockbox.

I managed to load Rockbox, and it's sounding good. Since I can also boot the original firmware, now both options are available
