Hi people,
Got hold of a pioneer PD-77 CD player. Built like a tank and in excellent cosmetic condition.However, it's rubber turntable sheet on top of the platter mechanism is missing.I read online that it is essential for proper functioning and quicker reading. If anyone has this model or a similar pioneer player like the PD-75, can you specify the thickness of the sheet so I can make one?If it is too thick it might damage the lens as claimed in the manual, so I really don't want to experiment in this matter.
