I am pretty new to audiology, learning something by following hifivision. Thanks for sharing all knowledge.

I am planning to buy a decent hi-fi system. My budget is 20-30k. I am more interested in listening to 70s - 90s music. Will use my Ipod mostly.

buy a decent pair of bookshelves with a stereo amp. brands to consider for speakers are wharfedale diamonds 9.1 / 9.2, usher s520. though im not a bose fan the bose 301's are good speakers too. for amps norge should fit your budget

One good option is

1. Topping Amp T20 3.7 K ( Search Forum there is a very long thread on the same)
2. JBL Control One 7.5K
3. IPOD dock for Charging and Line Out to Amp. ( 2 below more you can find on Ebay)

You can buy BS stands or can wall mount them.

UsherS520 are also known to get well with Topping.

I went for some auditions yesterday, very impressed with the whalfedale 9.1 and Norge 2060. Purchased both, waiting for the delivery.

Looking for a good Ipod dock with Remove control(Norge's remote control is good at all). Ones which Jatin suggested dont have a remote.
