You cannot 'get' high resolution song in the player. For that you need source disc/file/streaming service. You can play a CD or a high resolution audio file via USB or mobile device or use appropriate web streaming service (spotify, etc) for the same.
Hi Where did you get Sony ubp-x800? how much did you pay?

from uk sony ubp-x800 plus 4 uhd discs ---390pounds
Great! is this an region free? did you try connecting your external HDD to check if it recognizes/reads your 4k hdr files as well?
