My Long Term Review of Jio DTH services. I will be glad to answer any questions that you may have.

I guess it will have a dish when it is launched. The place where I live, has a network of coaxial cables which reaches our home and we get signal. There is a Ethernet port on the set top box but there is not functionality for it

Looks like Jio has collaborated with some cable operators to roll out JIO cable TV. I would call it Jio Cable TV rather than JIO DTH.

Jio has not opted for DTH. They dont have a DTH license also. Its gonna be a Cable TV service ma be from FTTH.

The set top box that we have does not require an internet connection.

I beleive its connected via Coaxial cable. That means its a Digital Cable TV service, and Jio has a MSO license.

@vaibhavyagnik bro, its a typical Digital Cable TV service. If u can pls send me the usermanual of Jio STB, check the specs it will state its a DVB C STB

It is a DVB. I will post manual is some time

if its a DVB-C then its a Cable TV STB, and not DTH. For DTH it has to be DVB-S2

Jio is launching something Jio Home TV which is offering both SD and HD channels for RS 400. i dont know if this is rumor or not for more details see below link
