Anyone who knows how subtitles can be customized on LG OLEDs? I have presets set according to my preferences on both the Android app and the website, but the Prime Video on WebOS doesn't show those.

Btw, Prime Video is so bad compared to Netflix. UI sucks. Subtitles often don't turn off after being turned on. Forwarding or reversing is horribly implemented. Pfft! Expected a lot more tbh.

I think subtitles are controlled by the local app, not the TV.
Yes, Prime Video UI is not all that great.
Cheers,
Raghu

Yes yes. Should have worded the question better. How to change it on Prime Video app only? Global changes via website aren't applying.

When playing a program press the OK button on remote.
On the far right there is "CC" option to control subtitles.
Allows for font size and color (white, another white, yellow).
I could not find an app global option on Prime Video LG app.

I wanted to change those presets only to show translucent white instead of pure white, as that's a bit too white in HDR content. Anyway, seems like it's not possible on the TV app. I'll contact Amazon and register a complaint.

Yeah. Transparency option is not available on LG app.
I think it will be on LG development team.
