Looking for 5.1 speakers

Hi friends,
I just ordered denon x3500h from Europe and will be getting it by 28th April. I hope I made a good choice buying it. Now looking to make 5.1 system. Need your help on following.

- I am assuming that The avr should work fine in India, please suggest any care I may need to take.
- regarding power supply. Should I take special care? Would connecting both avr and sub to single extension of 16 Ampere switch
- need suggestion on speakers i may start with 3.1 (not sure if 3.1 is correct representation) 2 front, center and sub. Budget around 30 to 40k. I can stretch a bit if there is significant improvement.
- suggestion on surround but may be later once I feel to add them.
- any place in Pune where I can demo the suggested speakers. Or else Mumbai stores.
- suggestion wrt writing, casing, connectors

My room size is 12x20 with ~12 feet being viewing distance from sofa. 47 inch lg led TV wall mounted right in middle. Would love to add projector and screen in future. And may be 2 ceiling speakers. But only if 5.1 works out with good quality asi cannot make drawing room much acoustic controlled.

Indeed a good choice..

You should be able to complete a 5.0 set-up in you budget (or) if you can overshoot slightly from Taga Harmony Platinum series, Mission..

For wires, you can opt for amazon basics depending on distance required & correct gauge.. For connectors, you can use MX banana plugs, cost effective ones..

Casing can be done locally with help of plumber..

Any other options I took demo of monitor audio radius series but got no other brand's demo.. They seemed good. How do they compare to taga Harmony Platinum series?

Dali zensor series and q acoustics will be an excellent choice. For wiring you need to go for OFC and C&E will be excellent.

Thanks I visited them at their older location. Seems they have moved to new place. I hope they have more demos to show. Will visit them soon

I know you will be all excited and unable to wait long to set up the system
But better to have a good system even if it takes time rather than an average one immediately.

Do consider buying preowned. Some good deals do come up here. Look up olx/qikr also but only if you can check before buying.

Agree. Planning to do so now.
1. 2 front and center
2. Subwoofer 12"
3. 2 surround.

Amazon Basics cable is not pure copper, quality is just average,
Monoprice 14AWG CL2 Rated 2-Conductor Loud Speaker Cable (For In-Wall Installation) looks good but I doubt it's purity.
QED XT is one of best cable

Center speaker is available for sale, Please check HFV classified.
I tested, tonal would affect little. but if center is good, it will dominate Front speakers and Vocal would be awesome.

Hi all. After reading so much about so many speakers and subwoofer, my budget is going crazy. I will soon list my shortlisted set soon. Unfortunately no place to get a demo..

I wish there be any stores like richer sounds UK in India.. Almost everything is available..

Any smart way to get them from US or UK? Already getting in touch with my friends and families traveling to get them, but not very convenient for most.
