I have a LUXMAN LR-2500 RS AVR (Japan Make) About eight years old. It doesn't process dd, dts but can do only pcm. So, I use this as an amplifier for audio signals received from dvd player. Can anyone suggest someone who can repair this unit and make good.
I also have WD TV media player and speaker setup. To watch HD movies with dd / dts do I need to buy AVR or DAC with optical in and 5.1 ch output will do the job. I even don't know if anything is available. Suggestions are most welcome. Thanks.
