And guys i don't know why iI hate magnat center speaker . its like very warm suppressed voice.. which is very difficult to tune in manual audio setup by changing the frequencies...... now i plan to change my center speaker
Please guys suggest me some good center speaker which is in my budget (10-15k INR MAX.)as already I had wasted my money in this. .magnat 250.
OR DO YOU THINK EVERY CENTER SPEAKER IS LIKE THIS..

And also please suggest if i change center channel brand will it be bad
as everybody says that LCR should be of same brand

harman im surprised u think so. In my setup, the magnat center channel is the star. I like it much more than the towers from the same series. The review on whathifi also said the same. Im simply mesmerized with the kind of movie exp it provides. I have however turned up the volume of center a little more than towers. Are u sure ur center is not damaged or something wrong in settings?

Hi, ditto with me, I sold my magnat 1000 towers for space reasons and a musical upgrade but was always very happy with the centre, it is really good and it has a tremendous punch even in our fairly biggish room. It never occured to me to upgrade even though I use diff spkrs as fronts and they keep changing once a while.

But even I increased the channel strenght by two points, that's all. I am sure there must be some issue with the spkr or that particular amp in ur avr - if it has discrete amps I mean. Just connect to the left or right and see how is the sound.

I think you might be right , may be some settings are wrong.. but i have tried a lot in manipulating the custom settings.. its not giving optimum output..
But at store i have heard wharfedale.. center speaker, it was great ... means output matches the output of towers... but... magnat 250 is like having diminished sound

My liking is for louder dialogue and vocals, thats why I have turned up the volume a little bit on center. Its my preference. See if u can check the same on another specimen of the same model. But if u are convinced about another speaker I guess u will go for it but i find it incredible. Just today I watched Casino Royale again and I was trying to spot any weakness in center channel after reading ur post. This movie is dialogue heavy and every intonation on craig's voice was crystal clear and the emotions came out very well too. So id suggest troubleshooting first.
