Hello, This is pertaining to the DC Out, RS-232C, Flasher and Remote Control connections on the Marantz SR6014 AVR and Marantz MM7055 poweramp.

(1) DC out. I have connected DC out from the AVR to the DC in of the poweramp with a 3.5mm mono cable as trigger. It works fine.

Hoping to get some enlightenment as to the purpose of the other 3 connections and when and why these would be used.

Thanks.

RS232-C is for company use only. Some companies may allow for this port to be used in control automation.
IR flasher is used for an extension when these units are not line of sight for remote control purposes.
Remote in/out you may have to refer to Marantz manuals how they intended it for end user.
Cheers,
Raghu
