Marantz CD65 MK II Reading issue

I was modifying my Marantz CD65 MKII. I messed up something when I was changing power supply and dem clock Caps. After that CD door is ejecting automatically and it is not reading CD. An clue what could be the reason. Has anyone encountered this kind of problem? Please suggest me

Your best bet is reubenesm of our forum, I believe he did change the lens of his 65 MKII. PM him he might have some suggestions on this issue.

Thanks for mentioning me, manniraj however I have not done any mods on my cd player. Changing the laser transport is more in line with a simple replacement process.

also, we have worked on my CD63 SE and not the CD65 MKII

Hi Badri, my Rotel CDP: RCD965BX also has the same CDM 4/19. Exellent floating arm laser mechanism. That reads the data as super fast! When I find, I ll let you know. I hope that you 'll get.

I reversed the modification and turns out the caps installed are reversed.
