Mordaunt Short winding up...

Hi All,

Recently heard that Mordaunt Short , the fabled British speaker brand is up for closure. Our local distributor in Kolkata SKS Traders informed me the same. They confirmed that no fresh consignments are being received.
However when I checked up their Global website , nothing much seemed amiss.
Considering the fact that I am using their Avaiano 6 wonderfully matched with my Marantz and was looking towards a sub woofer , this is a surprise.
Could fellow members provide further updates.

Then it is a cause of worry. However all these are floating unofficially .

I checked their UK dealers, they arent bringing any new models in market. Clearing old models at discounts.

Believe that happened a long time ago - in 1999.

Actually there seems to be a lot of ambiguity , but MS is no longer available, no fresh stocks are being received.
