My TV not supporting Ac3 format Songs

Hi

I have a Samsung LED TV that has Dolby Digital Plus/Dolby Pulse encoded. I have downloaded some songs in Ac3 format which is a Dolby Digital format. But When I try to play these songs in my TV, its not detecting those files ( Shows empty in the folder)...

Let me know do I need to change some settings...

AC3 won't detect directly on tvs. Use mkvmergegui to convert .ac3 to .mkv...then try to playback.

But this is an audio song not video...

You can try renaming the songs to .mp3 or .mkv or .mp4. Or use softwares to convert it to video format.
