Need Help: Accessing network data on Ipad

Hi All,
I have a network setup with WD cloud (as file server).
i can access the files on all my supported devices(TV , RPI, Laptop).
Currently i have acquired an Ipad, and i am not able to access the data on ipad.
If any member could guide me the possible ways to achieve the same.
I saw some paid apps providing the facility, but not sure if thats the only method to do the same. what are the ways that the respectable members of the forum are using.

Check if WD has its apps for ipad.

I use a Synology NAS and its apps make the files accessible over ipad.

What are the files - audio/video/documents? Based on the content there may be other options.
