Need help connecting Sound card to amp

i want to connect my asus xonar stx soundcard to the emotiva amp
for 2 channel setup, xonar has two RCA Front R / Front L out and my
amp has has two RCA unbalanced in. will i need a two rca cable?

What you need is 2RCA to 2RCA cable. It means each end has 2 RCA connectors. One for let channel and one for right. Buy a good cable. Bandridge/MX are good basic cables. Sky is the upper limit for cable price . I am bit confuse though. You are using Emotiva and Xonar. Those people who use sucha high grade components usually know what cables they need the only question being which brand. I hope you have assembled the gear after audition not just based on reviews.

I had a look at the user manual online. It is not clear, and does not cover the specific instance of connecting to an amplifier rather than to speakers. I can understand that someone who is not specifically used to sound cards might be confused by it.
