I am new to this forum but i have been reading the posts in this forum so far.
I am planning to buy a 5.1 home theater system from Yamaha with floor standing speakers NS8900, but for purchasing an AV receiver i need your valuable opinion. yamaha has recently launched some new AV receivers series and i am specifically looking an AV receiver with both airplay and multizone features. Yamaha V673 has both these features but this has 7 channels. will this be compatible with a 5.1 home theater systems? or it shall work only with 7.1?
