I am planning to setup a home theatre system in my hall. The hall size is 15 feet * 14 feet. I spend most of the times in watching BD rip movies from my hard disk and i am planning to install HD setup box also. My wife also loves to play songs.

I have a Samsung 40 inch 3D tv which can play a variety of file types.

The budget is around 40K and i can stretch little bit. I am looking for suggestions on how to go about.

I think it's best to buy AV / AMP and speakers separates separately.

The main reason i saw couple of home theatre packages and i didn't like them. Kindly give me some ideas on this.

also consider a media player
forget samsung in built player
is the 40k full and final..
or later addition plan is there?
bd rip sizes?
main movie types...dramas?...mixed?

Thanks man ! I might add few components later. I have no plan to install the projector. I can stretch a little bit may 3-5K. But not more than that.
The BD rip sizes are around 1.5 -2 GB. Mostly action movies and some dramas.

1.erase the movies or give it to somebody
you need 720p dts files at least 5Gb wala..more..better..
2.build slowly
now buy an avr and 2 bs fronts..within 40k
later add others...

if you are strict about budget..get a htib from denon/onkyo/yamaha within 30k,32k range..

Purchase the Audiolab 6000A Integrated Amplifier at a special offer price.
