Need your help av guru's to buy an ultimate Hometheatre system.

Am new baby to this site from Chennai. Can anyone suggest the best Hometheatre system. Budget 50-75K. Roomsize 120sqft. 50% music / 50% movies. Pls help me..

I see 2 posts and in the second one the budget has jumped to 75K.

My suggestion:

1. Never be in a hurry. We all do mistakes in impulse buy.
2. Do the investments in stages: meaning in the upgrade path.so follow the steps;
3. Hope you have the flat panel TV.
4. Choose a AVR (100Rms+), BD player and a pair of speaker.
5. Later (depends on your income) add a Sub.
6. Then the center and surround.

This is how I did. Nothing went obsolete (near future) or redundant. But you have to take a call whether you need Floor Stand/Bookshelf, 3D BD player or not etc.., Audition as much as possible before zeroing in on. Believe, Your Golden Ear besides reading reveiwes and referring to Forums like HiFiVision.

Suggest me, I like floor standing and loved too. Hardcore music fan..

Heard demo of the following speakers:-

Polk rti and tsi,
Energy, elac,cryatal acoustics, magnet

Which one should I choose.. I need a bright speaker..

As of now I will go for 2 floor standing speaker and receiver.

Suggest me in both dude...
