I am new to this forum and I think it is a very informative forum. I have purchased a pair of Monster Inspiration Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones from best buy yesterday and i am not sure how great are these ( Monster Inspiration Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones (MH INS ON TTM CTU WW) - Black/Silver : Over-Ear Headphones - Best Buy Canada ) . I was thinking about purchasing a hi fi portable media player so i can enjoy these headphones to their full potential. I am just not sure if i need a hifi player for these headphones. Also if i do need a hi fi portable player what would be an entry level recommendation? I have looked at these two so far :
Astell&Kern AK120 portable Hi-Fi system (Gorgeous device but really expensive for a beginner i think)
HiFiMAN 2nd-generation
Any advise would be greatly appreciated
