Newbie needs help regarding amp + speaker + sub

Hi guys,

Quite a newbie involving Hi-Fi and I was just looking for some setups that'll be used for general movies/music/gaming connected to a PC and I'd much rather have a dedicated Amp rather than PC speakers.

I've noticed a deal involving a Denon PMA-720AE + Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 + SW150 Sub for about 370 or about 37k.

Do you guys reckon this is a decent deal?

Also what cables would be required to actually hook the Amp to the Sub?

I see that your location is in UK, if it is so, then you have many more options to choose.

what is your taste Movies and Music or which is less and which is more or its 50/50?

if you can share more and also regarding the budget limitations etc.
