Onkyo SKF-4800 2-Way Bass Reflex Floorstanding Speakers

Any one auditioned these speakers? is it good for music? my avr is ONKYO TX NR 545

I have audition Onkyo SKF 4800 two years back in What hi-fi show Mumbai in Palladium. Onkyo Chennai displayed it. Speakers sounded fuller and deeper with lacking clearity and details in high end.

Is it produce enough bass without subwoofer?

If you are bass lover then audition Bostan Acoustic A360 and Mission MX5. Your AVR should have enough Power to drive these mighty speakers. In classified section MS Avino 6 is also available below 30k. Just check availability and give a try. In above mentioned speakers you may miss micro details in high frequencies. Both speakers are able to give you room filling bass.

I own Onkyo SKF-4800 and am using it for my small HT. For a small room, the bass is more than sufficient, but if you are a bass hungry person with a bigger room, you will need a subwoofer.
