Onkyo TXSR 307 or Denon AV Receiver - AVR-1611

Hi,

I am having a Sony HTS DAV-DZ120K and want to replace it with a AV receiver as I am planning to replace my Tata SKY + with Tata SKY + HD when it will be launched.

1. Which one is better? Onkyo TXSR 307 or Denon AV Receiver - AVR-1611
2. Will the speakers of Sony HTS DAV-DZ120K will suffice any of these AVRs or do I need to go for completely new speakers?
3. Ezone is selling Onkyo AVR + speakers for Rs 28900. Is it worth?

Better sell the SONY and buy Onkyo or Denon HT package which ever you like after listening to them.

Sony is 4+yrs old and I do not think it can fetch any good price, but its speakers are in very good condition and I want to know if I can use them.

denon 1611 is better avr..


if speaker impedance matches with avr.. then you can use your old sony speakers
