Phono pre for Acoustic Portrait

Hi,

I have very recently bought a used pre-power set of AP for a second set-up. This is the PM-1 and AM-1 pair which is their older model.

I wish to connect a turn table to this.
Need advice for suitable phono pre amps within reasonable cost.
Willing to look at used amps as well.

I had contacted AP re specs for the set and was told that they would not be able to give exact specs but would be similar to the current Swara pair.

BTW: Cogram 4000 is a decent TT.

It's an Ortofon OMB 5E.
I am also getting a Dual from Shafic. Do not remember the cart details.

From your reply, it struck me that I would definitely be willing to have a DIY phono stage from any DIYer if someone is kind enough to make one (on suitable payment, of course). I am absolutely no DIYer.

I did not specify a budget as I have never used such a thing and really do not know the prices. Let's say, it should suit the amps. Would you be able to suggest a budget?

There are some good budget phono pres like CA640,NAD PP2 etc available at good price.My preference is always for DIY.
