I have a fundamental question, when I launch Tidal or Amazon music HD on the HEOS app and play in Marantz, thought it would mean Marantz network player is able to stream directly from Tidal or Amazon music servers ( just like it happens for Spotify Connect ) Only the "control" is via HEOS App - Is it right?
The reason for this question is that if I play via HEOS App, the streaming rate seldom goes beyond 16bit/44.1KHz, while if I play Amazon music HD via the app it shows as UltraHD ( while there is no way to find out the streaming rate except for the text as UltraHD)
Please clarify this basic question and any reason why the streaming rate doesn't go beyond 16bit/44.1KHz when playing via HEOS app.
