Please suggest (Bluetooth adapter for PC + Wireless noise cancelling headphone/buds)

The title pretty much states it. Thinking of buying these items in Amazon Prime day sales. Since past many years, I have been using a wired Sennheiser headphone with my PC. Want to become wireless now. Not sure whether to go with headphone or buds. Please feel free to suggest both.
Primary use will be watching movies/series.

I use a noise cancelling Bluetooth headphone. An old horse, plantronics backbeat pro 2.

It has aptX. I find it sufficient for watching movies late night. Little bass heavy, but doesn't bleed much in to mids which I prefer.

You can try Sony WH-1000XM4 as well. ​
