Puzzle for you - Connectin CRT @ HD STB using component cables

Hi Guys,

With LED gone, back to old days as will buy a new one in Navrataras.

For 15 days make shift arrangement is using age old 29' CRT.

Problem is I have a TS HD Set top box and I want to use component cables for better pic. quality.

I have component cable - Both for TV and STB but then from where to get the Sound.

Is there a way out? If not, I will go back to composite cable ie Yellow-Red-White for poor pic with audio

I think you need to use the component cables for the video and use the RCA out for the audio (the red/white). So a total of 5 cables will be required (3 for component video and 2 for audio).
