RIP Rishi kapoor

Really Consecutive Sad news, heart wrenching!!
I Fondly called him as Sweater Kapoor during Sridevi Era, but his 2nd innings was unbelievable.
Be it the Ethical 'Duggal Sir' in 'Do dooni chaar' or Mean Pimp "Laala" in Agnipath2, he never failed to impress.

Rest in peace Rishi Kapoor!

What a loss..this too...

:-((

It's a forgettable week and a forgettable year but Rishi Kapoor can't be forgotten..

Terrible...

RIP Sir..

Another huge loss for India. Legendary actor. Loved those films with him and dimple kapadia. May his soul RIP

A huge loss of a loveable star. You will be remembered for a long time Rishi Ji. Rest in Peace.

Earliest memories of watching him in "Bobby" ,"Khel Khel Mein" and "Amar Akbar Anthony" with the beautiful Dimple Kapadia and Neetu Singh somewhere in the mid to late 70s are still imprinted in the brain.

Incidentally ,last night wifey(who is a huge Rishi Kapoor fan) was watching Doosara Aadmi and today morning this terrible news.

Playing Rishi Kapoor numbers to remember him today morning.

You live on Rishi Ji.......

As a child and teenager, I used to look forward to watching movies of certain actors - and that included Rishi Kapoor. His roles - of an enthusiastic, sometimes mischievous youngster were always enjoyable to the young lad I was. Chocolate hero he was, and outgrow his films one did - as one grew up. After some forgettable and incongruous hero roles with much younger actresses in the 90s, it seemed that he had rediscovered himself in roles that suited his age and viewers’ sensibilities. It helped that the new age directors could tap into his natural ability. His memorable performances in Agneepath, Do Dooni Char, Kapoor & Sons etc proved that talent never fades.

Naturalness or ease - yes that’s one trait everyone relates with Rishi Kapoor. A distinctive voice and face were the two other. All these seem innate... he never came across as an actor who learnt the art, he did what came naturally and that was pretty good! And as usually is the case, natural talent seldom goes with temperament. In some ways the flaws actually add more character to the being.

Those born in the 70s or before and younger generation today would have different images of Rishi. The latter would have adulation and respect for the actor, but the former would have love and affection for the hero - their hero. To me, the name Rishi Kapoor brings up visuals of the likeable and handsome young lead of Khel Khel Mein, Bobby and Karz. He was and remains 20 something for us though time has passed by and eventually taken him away.

RIP Chintu ji! Forever young.

One of Bollywood legend departs. The kapoor family had decades of association with Bollywood.
may his soul rest in peace.

A dynast, who entered though soft entry through his influential father. But, He earned his stripes with performance.

Aum Shanti Shanti Shanti!

Dynast is too strong a label - this is not the same as a hereditary ruler imposed on the subjects. Viewers have a choice whether to watch an actor’s film irrespective of who launched him. If it’s ok for us to live in houses built by our parents, or a scion to lead a family managed business, it’s ok for a film professional to launch his/her offspring.

Rip Chintu Kapoor. The first chocolate lover boy of Bollywood who established his own style.
Shocking for the film industry and fans to lose 2 wonderful actors back to back :-(
