This is where it stands now.
I see no less than 6 Spectrum Analyzers/Graphics Equalizers, or, however you wish to call them. Are they there for form more than function? It is cool nevertheless.

All you need now is a Technics SL-10 to keep it modern (yet vintage) on the vinyl front.

@sandeepmohan sending dummy signals to all Equalizers but one GE-90. Use that to tweak the sound as required. The TT you mentioned is on the cards. Let’s see how quickly I can source one. Cheers!!!

I’m Chinmay, an up-and-coming music producer/sound designer/foley artist based in Bangalore and working on the music for films, games and adverts.

I began collecting records in 2012 while studying in Malaysia. The first record I ever bought was Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On. Currently have around 350-400 records mainly consisting of jazz, prog rock, krautrock, Brazilian music, folk, funk, soul, etc.

My setup consists of a Rega RP1 turntable fitted with a Nagaoka ,MP-110, Marantz PM6005 Integrated Amp and Acoustic Energy Aegis Evo 3 Floorstanding Speakers.

Love the rack.

And there is something so romantic about maintaining and listening to a record collection. Finally love the eclectism of your collection.

Hi Alfahath,

What is the material with which you have covered your side walls to darken the room. Kindly advice.

Thanks! I agree, especially now that everyone is under self-quarantine, records are a great way to spend time.

Got my HT room almost setup just before the pandemic. Have the following setup in the room
Projector- Benq 1080ST
120 INCH Manual pulldown screen
Front LR - Qacoustics Concept 20
Center - Qacoustics 3090i
Rear - Qacoustics 3020i
AVR - Denon X2600H
Integrated Amp - Marantz PM6006
Source - Xbox One X

Rear Surround would be stand mounted, no scope for the front unfortunately. Lot of scope for wire management but will need to wait till everything resumed back to normal

with that rig, I am sure you loved going to work! I am inspired to put up something (much for frugal) at my workplace. Could you share details of your office setup (as it was in your photos)?
Thanks.

My setup was Olive 06HD>Esoteric K01>EAR868>Threshold SA1>Gallo 5LS
Power cables from Triode Wire Labs, interconnects from MIT/Analysis Plus/Darwin
Speaker cables were Transparent Ultra
DIY acoustics
If you need any details on specific equipment or sound quality please send me a pm, I don't want to unnecessarily derail the thread.

Thanks again and yes I enjoyed my work time immensely due to the setup. :)

Flat speaker cables are Nordost ?
Hi sunand :)

They are actually nordost replicas gifted to me by a generous forum member and a very dear friend @Dr.Krack. But all the same they sound very lovely. They are mainly driving the bass drivers. With transparent ultra z biwires driving the mids and the tweeters.
