Dear Audiophile Memebrs

Goldfinch Acoustics proudly launches Sonnet Digital Audio in India.

Cees Ruijtenberg, a veteran in digital to analog conversion, needs no introduction. He has now started his new brand (ex-Metrum Acoustics) with Sonnet Audio and launched Morpheus DAC.

Morpheus is a R2R Ladder, NOS DAC that utilizes 4 SDA-2 DAC chips built in house by Sonnet Audio unlike most of the other manufacturers that use off the shelf readymade DAC chips. This DAC comes with a lossless volume control that can be bypassed for a fixed output to pair with integrated amplifiers. The volume control in Morpheus works by altering the reference voltage in the DAC chip and does not utilize any transformer or potentiometer, so there is absolutely no channel imbalance or noise introduced by the volume control. We are confident that Morpheus is easily better than many DACs that cost many times more and the reviews stand testimony to this claim.

I would buy anything made and supported by Cees Ruijtenberg. He is great a guy and goes to great length to help owners of his products as he did to me.

To cut the very long story short my Metrum acostics Adagio had blown inner three fuses and we exchanged more than 16 emails in two days including 14 in 4 hours. He even told me which tool to use to open the dac and also from where to source those mA slowblow fuses.

I wish him all the best.
