A month ago I got these beautiful looking amp in pretty bad condition, cosmetic as well as internally it was not good. The output transistor were showing good on multimeter but had damaged so I replaced all 4 of them also cleaned all the potentiometer as well as recapped it. Now the amp is working. Even if the amp is too small it sounds too good and has around 30wpc power.

Oh wow, great. Very happy that you could restore it to good working condition. Did you get the transistors easily?

Yes the transistors are easily available in Grant Road. It was having 2N5296 and TV6100 BEL transistors. I got original BEL transistors so replaced all 4 of them

Which shop did you find them at? Do you also have the circuit diagram for this amp?

I don't have the circuit diagram. But my output transistors had gone bad(it was showing om the multimeter). I got them from RK electronics, who had some of the old stock transistors

You can safely replace the outputs with MJE3055 & MJE2955. And the driver transistors with BD139 & BD140 respectively.
And all the SK & SL with 139 & 140's with out any hesitation. They will perform quite well.
Even the small signal BC145,147 ,148 & BC157 158 with the present day BC 547, 548 , 558, also with the low noise BC 550 or BC560.
These are quite superior to the early ones ...it's like re capping the circuit. The transistors should also go thru this transision smoothly.
...... Japanese transistors from the 2 SA, SB , SC & SD series transistors will also works great over here but the European ones like ...the MJE, BD & BC series are easily available over here in India and are not that expensive.
And finally after doing all this the quiescent current should also be measured and set to 25 - 30mA on each channel.

Thankyou so much for suggesting, but I was able to find the original output transistor.

I got a Jetline amp along with speakers that needs restoration in Bangalore. I got it as a hand it down from my cousin's wife. Any suggestions where I can get this repaired?
