Hi everyone, I am a complete beginner in using Blu-ray, so bear with me if this is a silly question.

I live in China, recently I bought a Sony Blu-ray BDP-S370.

I'm very happy with it, I especially like being able to play files off a USB stick.

Sometimes though I get a message that the audio format of a file is not supported, it's usually slightly older files.

Is there a way to fix this? Like adding something to the firmware, or updating the firmware? I have no idea how to do this.

Sometimes a file will play, but if I try to fast forward it will lock and crash. Can this be fixed by updating firmware or whatever?

I'd appreciate any insights. :)

Sony BDP S370 is a nice player but doesnt support NTFS and thats a big drawback......what file format are you trying to play ?

you can try updating to the latest firmware, but that will not help much..
The Firmware updates have been basically bug fixes mostly..

Sorry, not sure about the file format. It's an avi I'm sure, but I guess that's not much help. How to find that out?
