Sony HT - IV300

Hi Folks ,

I am beginner to use HT. Just i want to get 5.1 for my TV. Not interested in Blueray DVD players. So i came through this Sony HT - IV300.

I am in a deep confusion whether to buy Sony HT - IV300 or not?

Now iam using
TV : Samsung LEDTV 40H6400
DTH: Videocon D2H

As mentioned in Sony website [http://www.sony.co.in/product/ht-iv300] this model is built for DTH. But except Videocon D2H remaining all other dth's are mentioned as compatible.

If it is compatible:

Does this model gives 5.1 for SD channels also?

Do you have the black box or white box (with RF remote) for Videocon?
Per Sony showroom, the white box is supported but not the black one.
