Sony KD-55A1, who owns this TV, any thoughts?

Looks like an amazing TV, any owners here. What are your thoughts? Do you recommend it?

I haven't had a decent HD TV ever, so thought I would splurge on a TV for the first time in my life and zeroed in on this one.

It is an excellent TV. Are you looking for 55 or 65? Also look at LG OLEDs. The 65C8 is very similar in price to the 55A1.

What's the price you are buying for? You may try getting a C8 65" LG OLED for similar price.
There is not much difference between LG and Sony.

So the built quality is quite good. So want to stick with Sony.
I just want to know if the A1 is really worth the big bucks, compare to the 1 lac 55inch 4K model

Buy the LG. Far cheaper and it does much better HDR. The Sony TV anyways uses an LG panel.
