Hi,
i am planing (still not decided ) to build a DIY book shelf based on the following drivers
M13NH midwoofer

peerless T25AM tweeter

Is there any ready made plans available for a TM configuration book shelf with these drivers, which will make life real easy :) .
i tried to use online box volume calculator from Speaker Box Enclosure Designer / Calculator . In the peerless driver specification page they have given "resonance frequency" (45.55hz) is this the Fs for this driver ? .
and they have given the Vas as 11.3 but not spcified the measurement unit is it in liters ?

Hi Kannan,

Those specs are fine to start your design and yes it means "fs". The SPL chart shows the response drooping ~ 2100~2200 so keep that in mind with the crossover.

Makes a nice bookshelf, modeled in WinISD, might need to keep it close to the wall for added bass or use it with a sub.

Regards,
Sunil

WinISD shows similar figures, 7.12lit | 50.29Hz | 2.54 dia | 7.0 length. You sure this performance is ok - 50Hz@-4dB | 40Hz@-9dB. Theres not going to be much bass unless you augment with a SUB or near-wall placement.

Also, please keep in mind baffle diffraction will drop the output a further 6dB. A good read here.

Here is a plan considering the enclosure volume , wish things are ok
