It is a hard decision to let go of the spendors . I have been using it for 8-9 months now and really enjoyed the pure-tone mid from these speakers . I could not find the mid-tone in other speakers in this price level or even higher. Very suitable for Indian music recording , it never sounds harsh and good recording sounds amazing .

I used it with Exposure and Naim XS amplifiers , both sounded very good , heavenly mids . Also tried it with the Primare I-30 ( 125 W) and KT88 based tube amps which gets a fast , rhythmic lower end which I misunderstood as a limitation of the driver , but then it has something to do with the power.

Price expected is 1 L . Also welcome reasonable offer .

Reason for sale : May be a Harbeth . but not sure yet, as the price to value proposition is no great.

Sorry about the bad quality picture . Will upload a good one based on request .

Update: Missed to state that this is not a current model , this has been replaced by A5

Functional condition : 10/10
Cosmetic condition : 9/10

I am the first owner of this speaker

After the post , i got the call from couple of folks , who happened to listen to this speakers in different occasions expressed their interest to buy this . Later in the evening , one of them , a Bangalore FM , paid for these and picked-up the speakers. So this sale is over now .

It is a quickest sale for me in the Forum . I thought I would end-up selling out of the forum based on the -ve comments from some of the FMs earlier , classifying the Spendors as Dry ( which i still don't understand ), but it proved again that we do have really seasoned listeners in the forum.

Thanks for looking and thanks to hifivision.
