Dear Friends,

This is Bappa from Kolkata.

My system is as follows:-

1. TT - Rega RP3 with Nagaoka MP110.
2. Phono Pre - Cambridge Audio 551P.
3. CD Player - Marantz 5004
4. Int Amp - Cambridge Audio 651A.

I have planned to buy two floorstander for my system, according to my budget I have selected "Tannoy Mercury V4i, Polk Audio TSX440T, Boston Ac A360", which will be the best?????

I have already auditioned OLD version of V4 & found it's treble is edgy but the sound is open. New V4i is better according to reviews.
Tried Polk TSX440T, found loud & tight bass, treble is OK but Mid is not very good as Tannoy.
Didn't tried Boston....
Guys please suggest....all links pasted here

A 360 Floorstanding Loudspeaker | Home Audio | Boston Acoustics US)

TSx440T - Floorstanding | Polk Audio

The tannoys would be a better bet
The highs can be tamed maybe

But gaining air is more difficult

Btw I would look at getting better speaker
Even a bookshelf considering your system chain

Out of your shortlist, definitely the Tannoy.

If you are open to other suggestions, also look at some Klipsch models. They are in your range and will likely do well in your setup.

PSB B6, Usher S520, Quad 11L Classic, Q Acoustics 2020i, Kef Q300, Mordaunt Short Aviano/Mezzo etc are the usual suspects. These are book shelf speakers though. You must budget for the stands also.
