unable to connect my edifier speaker to my dvd player

I have a lg dvd player. Also I m having a edifier 5.1 multimedia speaker for computer. I would like to connect the edifier speaker with my dvd player. my edifier speaker having 4 cord. Can u suggest how to connect it with dvd player?

5.1 speaker will not have 4 however 3 inputs...

one input might be for stereo jack.. other will be rca for fronts , rear , centre/sub..

lg model number please...
