WD TV - Media Player

1. Does it support DTS HD and Dolby True HD?

2. Since the output I will be using is digital via hdmi, does PAL or NTSC version matter? The NTSC version is much cheaper.

If relevant TV is LG 50PB6600 and the specs are, from LG 50PB6600: FULL HD SMART PLASMA Television | LG India

Analog TV Reception: Yes(PAL I, PAL/SECAM BG/DK, NTSC M)

Digital TV Reception: Terrestrial DVB-T

As far as I know until a year back when I had WD TV it did not support DTS HD but supported Dolby HD. Mostly All TV's support NTSC now so any version should be ok. Another problem I had with WD TV was, it did not support MP4 codec and always had to convert to get it play. Not sure if all these has been rectified now but I moved towards another better player.

WD TV it did not support DTS HD but supported Dolby HD, and you can backup a Blu-ray with Dolby HD for playback on WD TV after riping them to lossless mkv.

i bought wd tv live through olx without remote. presently the player is operated by android app. can i get the wd tv live remote in market ? any link ?
sorry to divert the main topic

regards
uttam

If you are using HDMI only, then PROBABLY PAL & NTSC won't matter anymore.

Check out the release notes for their latest firmware update. I think that they do support DTS HD now.
