What are the differences between Sonodyne Sub 1012 and Sonodyne RoarR 1312 subwoofers?

My first post here, so I hope you could help me understand the differences between Sonodyne Sub 1012 and Sonodyne RoarR 1312 subwoofers. I was going through the sonodyne website as well as www.auditro.com.

The Sub 1012 is priced higher than Roarr 1312 (57k vs 45k):

I wish to purchase a fresh set of speakers for home theater setup, and I zeroed on the complete Sonodyne set for a 5.1.4 experience.

Speakers should timber match and it’s advisable to get matching speakers. Same does not apply to subwoofers. Go for subwoofers that are well known cause it is very important to get quality bass for an amazing movie experience. If ur budget is 40-60k you have lot of amazing options. Bic pl200-ii is used by meany FM and has perfect reviews. I myself use it and it is amazing. You can have a demo as well. Other options are svs pb1000 which will cost around 65-67k Mrp. Bic will cost you some where around 42-45k. And also share your room dimensions and over all budget for FM to suggest the best options available in market

And for Atmos are you getting the Sonus 3540? Have you had a demo with them placed overhead?

Firstly welcome to the forum!

In terms of which system is the best and what worsk fro you....suggest you visit the dealers closer to you ...else make a short trip to the nearest location which has a bunch of dealers.....you need to audition various systems and decide which one suits your requirements....

What is good for me for my place not necessarily works well for you or can be a bad system.......hence audition is recommended to get an idea and make a proper decision.

Read reviews and posts under what should i buy....home threatre...also see some youtube videos which contain user reviews...
