Which CDP / DVDP to buy?

Hi All,

I am looking for a CDP / DVDP. Mostly I will use this to listen stereo music. My budget is below 5K. I have shortlisted below mentioned two with my limited knowledge. Can anyone suggest please.

SONY -- DVP-SR760HP
o Audio DAC ? 192kHz/16bit

PIONEER -- DV-3032KV
o Audio DAC ? 96 kHz/24-bit

Also what does it means 192kHz/16bit or 96 kHz/24-bit. Which one is better for stereo music.

None of the two is good option for music. They are just not made for ACD.
If you have to choose from the two than go for the Sony DVP as it has 192kHz sampling rate so it should produce a smoother waveform.
16bit is okay as ACD is never encoded in higher bits than that unless you intend to use SACD or other HD audio.

Also try your hands on used product. A used Marantz CDP will be far better option than this provided the transport and lens is working well.
