Which headphone should I buy for watching movies ?

Dear Forum Members,

Which of the below mentioned Headphone is better for Watching Movies ?
Planning to connect it directly to my laptop for the time being , may go for a DAC in the near future, if required).

1) Audio Technica ATH-M50X
2) Shure SRH840
3) Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro-80

All are closed back HPs, should I stick on these headphones ? My budget is approx 220 USD.

Requesting your expert advise in this regard.

Do consider the Sony MDR 7506 too. Amazing headphones for music, movies and games. Should be available for $80 on Amazon. I haven't had the chance to listen to the other headphones you have listed in your post and hence wouldn't be able to give an opinion on them.

I enjoy movies with my ATH-M50 more than JVC. Clear and attacking sound just needed for movies.

The M50x I own crushes my head. Great for movies though. I wish it's comfortable and clear like the Sennheiser 439. 439 is not bad at all, try it.

I was supposed to ask this forum whether to buy Audio Technica ATH 50x which is on offer price of 8.5k in Amazon... After seeing the above replies ..inclined to buy it
