Got this price quote for Yamaha Integrated Amplifiers from Thomsun Music House in 12th Main Indiranagar, Bangalore.

A-S300 MRP: Rs.22,000/- Last Price: Rs.20,500/-
A-S500 MRP: Rs.25,000/- Last Price: Rs.23,000/-
A-S700 MRP: Rs.47,544/- Last Price: Rs.45,200/-

All these quotes are after the recent price revision by Yamaha.

What do you guys think about the quote. Worth it?

Quote seems to be a bit high. I was quoted 20K for A-S500.

I think the AS-500 @ 23k is the most VFM product from the Yamaha stable. :licklips:

The AS-300 is best avoided if you are looking for a pure music application. I have it in my 2-ch home theatre system. It sounds good with movies but lifeless with music. I once connected it to my main speakers just out of curiosity. A NAD is a much better bet.
