OLED TV's price/best quote thread

Hi. Was it a special scheme/ stock clearance?
The minimum I am getting is 94 (after cashback). Extended warranty of course is extra 14k. I wonder if it is worth.
I think it was March end deal but due to some issues could not take delivery on 31st March. So they still have me the same deal and delivery a couple of days later in April. The deal came through the LG employee who liaisons with the various LG dealers in Pune. He offered 4th year warranty for Rs 7.8k and 5th year at Rs 11k. I opted for additional 4th year warranty. Warranty is provided by a company called Onsitego which as per the LG employee is the official LG designated partner.

Also no idea if the 48 inch model is being discontinued

AFAIK LG provides warranty service to customers directly and has no partners.

Any idea on 42" C3 prices in Bengaluru? Or even 48". I know a guy who bought LG G3 55" for 1.4L in Diwali last year from somewhere in Whitefield.

Yeah I figured...that's why I said that whatever information I have on the warranty is as per what was conveyed to me by the LG employee. At that point I had already bought it and there was no way to cancel it. Hopefully don't even have to use it and have it just for peace of mind

The technician that came to install said that the company extended warranty is available and hence I had that doubt in my mind.

Lg 65 C3 average price right now? I am getting 65 S90C for 1.85L with some room for negotiation. What would be a reasonable price for both the above models? Above does not include credit card discounts.

Dear FM's any suggestions for an OLED TV which will be best for Gaming, Movies and Netflix/Fire Stick...Confused between LG C3 / SONY A95L AND A80J

G3 55" 138k (Reliance Digital & LG) - a friend bought it for 135k during Diwali from LG showroom though

AMC Platinum plan -

C3 55" - 25k with taxes
Acc. to their AMC brochure, platinum & platinum plus are merged. So this platinum plan includes upto one time per year panel replacement in case of any damage for the whole 5 years (they said it includes burn in, smearing, etc but not physical damages).

Sony A80L 55" - 151k - Reliance

How is Sony A95L in brightness as compared to LG G3 ? Confused between the two models..apart from Gaming, 4K content and Atmos/Vision my main reason to move to A95L or LG G3 is brightness as my Living room is very bright. Please advise.

Sony is considered to have better image processing. I saw C3 & A80L side by side, but C3 55" was like 30k cheaper (120k vs 150k), so I don't think Sony TVs are a good value but take your own call. G3 55" is 135-140k, so will be cheaper than A95L significantly which can be potentially used for upgraded sound system maybe. Anyways check them offline & take your call.

Sony A95L is going towards end of life...
A95L isn't getting a successor. Sony's 2024 TV lineup has been announced & they are pushing for miniLED in Bravia 9 with A95L continuing to be sold for those who want OLED.

Also, not like there are any major changes in each iteration that gets released every year, unless there's a major tech change. After 3-4 years, maybe the jump can be considered a bit noticeable. If price is good for old model, can consider. QD OLED indeed made a big jump from 2022 to 2023 TVs, but that was because it was new tech relatively. S95D's review is already out & is a minor improvement like what LG WOLEDs get. So if A95L was replaced with A95M (?), S95D's panel is what it would have ended up with.
