Any Star trek fans here?
After watching and rewatching multiple times the older 90's and 00's (voyager, next generation, deep space 9 and enterprise) series I was searching for anything similar. In the new series I liked only strange new worlds which keeps true to the original spirit of adventure - no over the top wokeness and drama.
I stumbled upon a huge collection of the Stargate universe. I had only watched the movie. I did not know about the rich collection of television series. It was never shown on any Indian channel I guess. One specific series - Stargate Atlantis is very close to star trek in its stories and ideas. Especially from season 2, it is very much like watching star trek episodes. Pretty good.
Wanted to share this in case other star trek fans are looking to watch something new.
It is available in Prime with a MGM+ subscription. Apart from the entire Stargate universe it has a rich collection of classic westerns and the entire James bond movie collection.
