Precisely and so have we all been 'waiting' for a while. The wait continues but in the last 6 months there has been more chatter coming through, so hopefully 'soon' I guess.“Spotify” “lossless” “soon” had been floating around the internet since Feb 2021
Ooooh - finally - it is "almost here" - yet again. Hopefully we do not have to wait for another decade this time.It was awaited since long , it may be finally here soon : As per newspaper reports today:

Yup this applies to me as well. I currently have Apple Music, Tidal & Spotify. I have Playlists synced between all three - Spotify being the primary playlist - the other 2 just being copies.I am an Apple Music subscriber but to me, Spotify had done the most spot on suggestions of bands or tracks that I ended up liking. Whenever I need to explore - Spotify it is.

Because unlike mp3, lossless quality isn’t decided by the quality of your compression algorithms. Are you implying that Spotify uses different (and better) source material than the competition?Spotify mp3s sound better than the competition, so I am eagerly awaiting ...
Well, considering that Tidal Connect (playing lossless) is already there on the same devices, an updated Spotify Connect (for lossless) should work too.what happens to Spotify connect in devices? They are already capable of hires playback or an update is needed?

Yup this is what I use, it is not 100% accurate - you will not have some songs in the list & some times versions/albums differ, but that is a very small percentage. @argho
