2.0 Powered Computer Speakers

Hi Guys,

Looking for suggestions for a good set of 2.0 (without sub) speakers. Budget is not an issue. Preferably something compact and with good sound quality. Currently have a bose companion 2 and looking for something better.

Considering creative gigaworks t20 and audioengine 2 at the moment. Would love more suggestions.

If budget is really not an issue: Adam A7 for sale on this forum.

I've never heard Adams, but everything I've heard about them convinces me that I'd probably love them. But this is more money than I spent on my hifi speakers!

In the shop, I fell in love with the sound from KRKs. Also too expensive for me. I bought M-Audio.

Lots of other threads on this. Probably didn't need a new one. You'll fined plenty of discussion about audioengine, m-audio, etc...

Thanks for the responses. Budget is not an issue but form factor/size is very important. I need something small and compact. Desk space is at a premium! At or around the size of bose companion 2 would be ok. The adam a7 suggested is too big at 13" (330 mm) x 7.5" (185 mm) x 11" (280 mm).

Can you guys point me to a similar thread? I'm finding too many irrelevant threads when searching.

Check out the Focal XS 2.1 set. I personally wouldn't go near them due to the price/value, but if that is not a concern for you you can check them out. It'll always be a trade off between price, performance and looks/size.
