This may be bit off-topic but yes. I agree with you, Onida has an exceptional PQ although in other areas it may be competitive.

I just require a led tv to watch videocon d2h progrmme channels,thats all including full hd channels

Look at Sansui skw40fh11xaf/kf. No 3D, no smart but good basic full HD.

Got this tv repaired localy for a mere Rs 3100.00 against Rs 17.5K samsung was demanding for a new panel.this chap repaired the panel repalcing LEDs.working fine
