42" Plasma (3D/Non-3D) buying help

I am from kolkata, want to buy a 42" Plasma (3D/Non-3D) this puja. My budget is 50k max.
Kindly guide me which one i should go for.

What does 'g' stands for in your name . Lets come to your requirement - At your budget don't expect a Full HD panel in plasma. All will be semi HD (1024x768) panel. These are the following picks (Top of the line).

1. Samsung PS43F4900ARLXL - 3D @45K (approx)
2. Panasonic TH-P50X60D - 50inch Non 3D (check dealer for price)
3. LG 50PN4500 - 50inch Non 3D @53K (approx)

If you are happy with limited connectivity options without compromising PQ then you can take a look at LG 42PN4500 @33K (approx) for the best Value for Money.

'g' stands for GHOSH, its my surname.
I am looking for 42" only and not 50" coz my room size is not that sufficient to hold a 50" plasma.

Is there any 42" plasma from panasonic available ?

This year sadly no 42" models from Panasonic.

You can check last year 42 x/xt 50 may be available in store. Available online @ infibeam/snapdeal/indiatimes.

Samsung 43F4900 (HD , 3D) is the 2013 model in your budget.
There are FMs who bought this model and have positive feedback.

Check if P42UT50D is available. I got this one 3 months back at 55K.

I checked out the local stores. There's no last year Panasonic plasmas available :sad:

Since all 2013 models are of 50" min. i can't go for them.
Stores are insisting me to go for Samsung 43" 4900 series. But the warranty is only 1 yr where as Panny give 3 yrs.
I am confused
