5.1 output from Airtel internet TV usb

Is anybody knows how to play or get 5.1 DD from airtel DTH set top box usb. I am trying to play 5.1 movie, which is perfectly working with TV and giving DD 5.1 output but from airtel DTH usb, it won't.
Kindly suggest

Is it HD stb or internet tv stb ?
As far as I know if earlier then stb upgrade would get you what needed. Not sure though
